High School Seniors complete Capstone Project
20 Loudoun County Public High School seniors, representing Tuscarora, Woodgrove, Broad Run and Rock Ridge high schools, recently completed their Capstone Projects with Loudoun Habitat for Humanity. Over the course of 2 weeks, the students were involved in a number of different projects to include:
Planning and executing a fundraiser
Assisting our Construction Manager with the renovation of a town home in Sterling, VA. Tasks included installing doors, bathroom cabinetry, kitchen cabinet hardware and various other tasks
Working in the Loudoun Habitat ReStore to help organize inventory
Attending the Loudoun County Chamber of Commerce PolicyMaker Series on Affordable Housing
Attending the Loudoun County Chamber of Commerce Leadership Summit
Supporting an upcoming Volunteer Appreciation Event
Participating in a Learning Center Workshop on personal finance
Attending a Home Dedication
